This is an amazing place to get a nice homemade breakfast. Getting breakfast in AC is limited to a DD or a buffet it seems. Although there are places on the boardwalk, we opted to get off the beaten path and look into something a bit more local. Maria's did not disappoint. We all got eggs made anyway we wanted, bacon, sausage, and the fantastic pancakes. They were definitely fluffy and had a good taste. Yes, they are just pancakes but these were more than that. They had to be super pancakes compared to other places in the area.
If you want a good home cooked breakfast that wont break the bank or steal your money like the casinos already do in AC... Definitely check out Maria's Luncheonette. -

I came to Atlantic City for a friend's birthday last December. While the city itself was sketchy as always, one part of that trip stood out: Maria's. My girlfriend and I were grabbing breakfast alone and I found these guys on Yelp so we decided to give it a shot. When we were a block away we got hit in the face with the smell of their cooking and I knew we made the right choice in coming here.
In stark contrast to the rest of the city, this place was young and vibrant and full of life. It smelled great, people were laughing, and all of the food looked amazing. It was one of the happiest places I found in AC.
As far as the food, you can't go wrong. Their menu isn't extensive, but you're probably going to find something delicious and it won't break the bank.
Definitely worth checking out! -

This place is a hidden gem. I was looking for an inexpensive breakfast then I passed by this establishment. It was a bit busy but their menus prices are amazing.
I went in here and took the booth seating. You get better service at the booth.
We ordered tall stack pancakes(7.95$), their special veggie Omelette with home-fries and toast(8.95$)
We had coffee refilled as soon as we are almost done.
The waiters are nice and always passed by to ask us if we wanted refills or if we needed any service.
They were really nice. The price was amazing. We paid less than 25$ for breakfast.
The food taste like a home cooked meal.
The place was clean and the food was prepared really well.
The food was so good that we wanted to have breakfast for dinner.
Must try place.
Hope they don't change their prices. -

Really good breakfast and lunch spot in AC. Don't go in the hotels but venture out here. Certainly a popular place too. Had the chicken salad sandwich which was really good. Home fries weren't the best but still a great spot. Service was super nice too.

Located like a block from the board walk from Caesar palace is this gem. Prices are reasonable and I had the roast beef Rueben sandwich with OJ for a quick bite in the morning. Would definitely recommend this place if you want classic breakfast or Barbera Seafood if you want seafood while you won't get a hole in your wallet.
